B-GEAR
|
| 1. Background Development
|
| The conflict between Phillon planet¡¯s aborigines and Artum project associates increased as time passed and the Artum project associates could not bear with the aborigines¡¯ constant attack. Also the lobby on ¡°Phillon battle¡± has become intense on administrators of military safeguards which also triggered the media to be related in this case. This kind of situation brought continuous fear to the people of the Artum project. Finally, Next Generation Co. Ltd, a representative military safeguard company, started producing new battle weaponry to defend against the ¡°Pillon battle¡±. After officially taking 5 dispatch tests, the airframe B-Gear has been produced. |
| 2. Basic Armament |
| It seems quite obvious that the basic armaments are air weaponry equipped on the latest dispatched B-Gear. Especially for basic weaponry, Next Generation Co. Ltd developed Auto Contact applicable weapon, which is series of machine gun types. Other than this, all the weapons can be used if Auto Contact is applied. However, tuning process has not been occurring since its very first release, resulting a little retrograding relative to continuous development of Gears. In addition, as a heavy weaponry, tuned general missile named, ¡°Homing Missile¡±, is being equipped. |
| 3. Airframe Characteristics |
| The weaponry for this airframe may be a bit weaker than the developed Gears¡¯ armaments but the airframe itself stands as a basis for any other Gears. First of all, in the case of the engine, the supplier has changed to Freeway Co. Ltd¡¯s Fr type engine, after failure of 5 trial development from another manufacturer. F type engine as widely known, it is a base engine for I-Gear that is specialized for race, but the Fr type equipped on B-Gear is an upgrade of F type¡¯s main frame that shows increased toque ability up to 20% affecting basic output, high speed flying, etc. Here, the aspect affecting the engine ability is the computer. As a result, on the fourth experiment, the computer was replaced to Model 6-Tenpole Line; a model produced by H.E.E Co. Ltd. This military computer is the former model that is equipped on S-Gear, but compared to No. III model, it has better analysis ability of ground heat, realism simulation, and response of pilot¡¯s commands. Therefore, H.E.E Co. Ltd¡¯s brand of Model 6-Tenpole Line No. II 4.15Thz was selected as a computer for B-Gear.
?Overall, the basic weaponry is weaker than other airframes but the performance of the airframe itself is great. Therefore, this airframe is nearly recognized as a main unit for Decan with all the mentioned merits especially for air-to-surface ability by simulation capacity. |

| 5. Main Computer |
| If the engine is excluded in a Gear, the most important component is internal computer. The basic model is equipped with Model 6-Tenpole Line No. II 4.15Thz manufactured by H.E.E. Co. Ltd. This computer is especially effective in a way it can make a simulation through ground¡¯s thermal sensing device, allowing surprise attack possible. In addition, automatic signal sending system to the home control tower in case of an emergency or memorable simulation database all prove the excellent functions it can demonstrate.
With the linkage of Cache and K-32 Custom Cache, which has bandwidth of L2, L3, L4, and L5, gives senses ground heat and simultaneous land structural modeling. This is also linked with the data of the super computer in headquarter. The 3A system makes it easy for auto attacking system, auto sighting system, and auto height control system to sense heat, which eventually makes it easy for the pilot to manipulate the airframe. |
| 6. Main Engine
|
| B-Gear Version II Type ¡®S¡¯ is equipped with Fr type engine, which is the third series of F type manufactured by Freeway Co. Ltd. Formally, this engine is close the F type series but if it is seen in a efficiency way, it is concentrated more on toque more than speed resulting a higher output than high-speed. Because Fr type is produced specially for B-Gear the frame is designed just for B-Gear so that the loss of fuel and heat is near 0%. However, it is frustrating that the delay of after burn is longer than other airframes but due to a large fuel tank this disadvantage can simply be supplemented. |
